Diana Krall – Quiet Nights

Jazz singer who has two concerts in Indonesia, Diana Krall, released in 2009 titled album Newer “Quiet Nights”. The album’s title is taken from one of the songs contained therein, by Antonious songwriter famous Carlos Jobim, was to be expected from these titles represent the content of this album is dominated by the color of Bossa Nova. Although in some Diana Krall album also insert bossa colors, but in this album almost dominates all the songs.
This is a reunion album with arranger Claus and conductor ever Oggerman also collaborating on the album “The Look Of Love”, this time for Claus discredited arrangement and orchestration in this album. Three works of Jobim “The Boy From Ipanema”, “Este Seu Ohlar” and “Quiet Night” in addition to hilight Burt Bacharach’s “Walk On By” and the work of Rodger & Hart’s “When Or When” is still in color bossa.
Touch of arrangement and orchestration of Claus brings a romantic atmosphere in every song on this album, this album will bring back Diana Krall in the nomination and won Grammy Awards, we’ll wait.
